Need a crash course on Voice sence NoteTaker

Hi all!
Title says it everything. I got the note taker yesterday, however all the old commands I know don't work on it..for example, the O Cord (O pushed down with the spacebar..) doesn't work etc..Any help is greatly greatly appreciated!
